Dr. Kai Lorenzen, Distinguished Professor of Integrative Fisheries Science. Kai uses integrative trans-disciplinary approaches to address complex fisheries management problems.  

Dr. Susana Hervas-Avila, Research Associate. Susana is an interdisciplinary social scientist with particular interests in using qualitative methods to understand fisheries management conflicts.  

Sylvia Adisa, Ph.D. Student. Sylvia researches leadership and industry representation in coastal fishing and aquacutlure communities. She is advised jointly with Dr. Renata Serra.

Joy Hazell, Ph.D. Student and Research Collaborator. Joy’s Ph.D. research is on governance and collective action in the management of Caribbean FAD fisheries. Joy is also Director of the Florida Natural Resources Leadership Institute and a statewide Extension agent in conflict management.

Kaitlyn O’Neil, Ph.D. Student. Kaitlyin’s Ph.D. research is on the adaptive management of marine recreational fisheries enhancements. She is also a biological scientist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission’s Marine Stock Enhancement Research Center. Kaitlyn is advised jointly with Dr. Edward Camp

Juan Cortes, M.S. Student. Juan studies the efficacy of conventional tagging programs for estimating release mortality. He is also a biologist with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Juan is advised jointly with Dr. Zach Siders.

Brooke Tanguay, M.S. Student. Brooke studies fisheries modeling and assessment with respect to marine stock enhancement programs in Florida. Brooke is advised jointly with Dr. Edward Camp
